Cabo Mexican Restaurant

Was told there was a 30 minute wait so we sat at the bar waiting. So our party of 8 was spread out in several places...not being able to really visit together. An hour later I asked when we would be seated. They forgot us. So we just left.At least the bar tender was courteous and made good drinks.

Margaritas and Nachos. The view on the Las Vegas Strip amazing. Even if you drink too many the cops are great when they bust you.

I went there briefly late at night about 1230am. Without getting too specific, I initiated a conversation with the host girl who was casually engaging with a co worker, oblivoius to my presence. I asked about a particular menu item, to which she rudely refused my request, and I asked for the manager, and he was able to grant my request. Needless to say, the food was cold and kinda bad. I understand it was late, and early-day time might be better, but there are lots of restaurants open in Vegas that offer better. I got to give them what I feel.

Big portions and strong drinks. You can share something with a friend amd just have some sangria on the patio and people watch. Miracle mile has free parking so it's a great location.

Made a reservation for a busy planned out day. Showed up early then was told they pushed their start time one hour, even if a reservation was made. Absolutely ridiculous. It will be a while before we consider trying this place again.

The service was great, our server was attentive and a sweetheart. The restaurant had the rock and roll Mexican ambiance you would expect from a Sammy Hagar owned eatery. The food was OK, not great and for the price they charged I was expecting much more. It was just my wife and I, she had 1 margarita and I had one beer. She had a taco entree and I had an enchilada one. The bill came out to $107.00. With the tip, which the server deserved, it was $130.00. I was disappointed with the value we received. I think there are a lot of better places to eat for $130.00.

Been here a few times, and have never been disappointed. Great drinks and good food served in a fun atmosphere. Service is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Fun little outdoor bar/grill. Service can be hot or miss at times. Great place to stop for a ice cold sol on a hot day. Typical pub fare.

Staff was very accommodating. giving 4 stars for the food-it was decent and moderately priced for the strip. The queso was just ok. They easily worked with our large group.

The chips and salsa was phenomenal. The salsa flavor is absolutely amazing. I wish they bottled it. All the food and drinks were great!

LOVE Cabo Wabo!! The food is delicious, the location is perfect, and we have always had excellent service. Our last visit I had the beef short rib burrito and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were amazing! I also had a Sammy's Toasted Colada which is a bit pricey at $15, but it is so good! If the weather is nice, they have a patio area that overlooks the strip.

A fun spot off of the strip with prices that were way lower than I expected. The tacos I got were delicious and the pickled jalapeños and carrots on the side were a great addition. Prime location for people watching, too!

I had the chance to visit this restaurant while on business. I will start off with the only positive and that was the service. Our server was very attentive and very helpful. Now for all the bad... The price was outrageous for what you received. We ended up getting two tacos and two enchiladas and a margarita each. This ended up being $115 after tip. What a joke. For that price you would think that everything would be fantastic however this was just not the case. Margaritas were probably some of the worst I have ever had. The food was almost on par with Taco Bell (and I despise that place). Overall I would not recommend this restaurant. If you want to spend over $100 on Mexican and your options are between here and taco bell you might as well spend $100 at Taco Bell. At least you will be able to get 50-60 tacos vs two.

Really good food, and a pretty good price!! The service was great!! I love the vibe of this place. The shrimp tacos are where it’s at!!

Great place to eat if you want to get out of the casinos and have a great view of the strip. Food was really good and the margaritas were 👍🏼. Played some great rock music, staff was great. Go Sammy!

The food and drinks here are so good! The shredded beef short rib burrito caso style is definitely a favorite. It comes with so much meat and is amazing!! The Mango Margarita is now a favorite drink of mine. Definitely give Cabo Wabo a try, you won't be disappointed.

The frozen margaritas were amazing, but the regular happy hour margaritas were bitter and the sangria was sour. We asked our server for napkins and water and never got them. Our server forgot about half of what we asked for.

Always may favorite nachos. Quick service, good margarita pitchers. Nice to sit outside if it's not too windy.

Best happy hour deal on the strip with half priced margaritas and they're quite strong too!

This place is great, great atmosphere, good for families or large groups. They have indoor and outdoor seating.The food was good, traditional Mexican food and drinks. They offer drink specials.The food only took about 5 minutes to arrive.The staff was friendly and our server was great.

A hidden gem on the Strip. The place is clean. The food is really good. And the staff are top notch. Not like so many other places where staff look like they've either had too many late Vegas nights or they started working when the first hotel was built. This was the best experience I've had since I got here.

Great location and a lot of seating. It is busy every time I have been there. The outdoor seating is great, you can see the strip and everything that is going on. This time we sat at the outside bar and had a couple of drinks while we planned what to do next. The bartender was amazing and very attentive. The drinks were made quickly and tasted great.

The food and service was awesome. We spent 5 days in Vegas and ate here 3 days in a row. Will definitely go back. 👏👏🤗🤗

Awesome happy hour !! 3-6pm M-FGreat deals on drinks and food. It’s a selected list but lots to choose from. We sat outside, which was loud but heated. My friend and I order two rounds of drinks, she the sangria and myself the house margarita. She liked her drink, and I thought mine tasted booze but not too much and was on the sweeter side, rather than acidic. Which I’m okay with because when it’s both and lean, it’s not enjoyable. I would rather one then the other and not all three, leak, acidic and sweet. We also did the nachos with chicken, which were so good, the best nachos I’ve had in a long time 😋So, great deal and good service !The place was packets at 3pm and then again at 4pm on a TUESDAY.

Good place! Live and across the street from fountains. Nachos were bomb! Definitely what you’d expect.

The food was great!!Our server was also amazing.My wife isn't a big drinker but she really enjoyed the strawberry margarita I got the cw margarita and was satisfied after 2 large glasses. The glasses are yours to keep if you get the larger up and it also saves you money if you plan on buying more than one drink. It saves you about 4 bucks

Our server was awesome so much character, super knowledgeable, and helpful. Told us all the deals going on and what taste best! He was a huge help with my sisters coupon as well! We had a shrimp dish, ceviche, and enchiladas. Everything taste As good as it looked and the greats were good and strong they came with cups we could Take home! Good amount of food to get full. I would for sure revisit.

Great food and love that you can just sit and watch the people, specially the one that you can tell it's there first time in Las Vegas. Drinks are good and the service was pretty good.

Kevin was an awesome waiter! He made sure our food didn’t have what my husband is allergic to and checked on him throughout the night. He was so kind and a great start to our vacation! The food was spectacular. I got the steak tacos and I was bummed when they were gone. I almost ordered another round. I also had a strawberry margarita which was extremely delicious! They had heaters out on the patio so we could enjoy dinner outside with the great views of the fountains and strip. Thank you Cabo Wabo, we will definitely be stopping by every visit.

Best food & drinks and happy hour prices! A surprise gem right in the middle of the strip under Planet Hollywood! Get there at 3pm and stay until 5pm Mon-Fri! I've traveled the world for the last 20 years visiting over a hundred different Mexican restaurants in over 15 countries!Considering this is on the strip in Vegas we enjoyed our experience immensely! Sorry for those complaining & poor reviews, you missed out!

Delicious food right on the strip! Cabo Wabo is Sammy Hagar's little love child and it is 100% worth a stop on your busy Vegas day. At the mouth of the Miracle Mile Shops it's easy to find and has a relaxing vibe. The BBQ burger is delicious and their chips & queso are fabulous. If you can handle the sugar overload, the frozen/blended drinks at the entrance are also delicious.

This place was very appealing to look at and seems like a lot of people were coming from here. Maybe its the hype of it all that just made this place "okay". Our server was really nice and seems to check in often and the atmosphere was cool. The drinks were extremely overpriced and just okay, nothing spectacular. We ended up sharing the appetizer platter as it seemed like a good choice to have a little bit of everything. It was HUGE and my friend and I who shared it were stuffed. Nice variety and of things and it was all very fresh.

Great location and seating. Always busy, but the service is great considering the traffic.Food was better than expected, especially for the location. Reasonably priced as well. Their breakfast burrito was on point, along with the drinks.I will definitely keep this place in mind when visiting again.

Good place to go for the atmosphere and patio, especially at night when it gets a little more lively. The food was decent - pork enchiladas and salsa were pretty good overall. For me, all the food tasted extremely salty (maybe how they get you to buy more drinks?), but if you’re just here to have some margaritas it’s probably fine.

Vegas bachelor partyFirst time to Vegas Cabo Wabo Cantina. I enjoyed trying a drink suggested by the waitress. It was flavorful and after 3 felt ready to walk the strip. I ate the Jalapeno Cilantro Chicken. This was actually delicious! Can't wait to go back and eat more from Cabo Wabo Cantina.

Great Pork Fajitas and drinks with a great view. The place was packed but the service was fast and moving. Great place to people watch on the strip if you can get out front and outside. Inside has a cool vibe too!Would have taken a picture of the dishes and drinks, as they were presented amazingly... but we dug right in and ate them up before we could grab a shot.

Great spot for amazing tequila cocktails and happy hour deals. It would be a 5 star place if there was a larger vegetarian selection for food. Currently there is only the mushroom fajitas.

This is our favorite place to chill and people watch. The margaritas are killer, the service is always good, and food is great! No matter the weather the patio is the place!

One of the best breakfasts I have had in Vegas during my stay! Excellent menu, great drinks, awesome atmosphere. A must eat at venue! And you get a free cabo glass with your meal.

This place was fun, but like anything on the Las Vegas strip it was expensive. But the atmosphere was really nice and sitting on the deck overlooking the strip, even in the relative cool January weather, was fun. The service was friendly and the glass of whiskey was generously poured. Definitely a solid four stars.

Paid $25 for a strawberita (strawberry margarita) and never again. It was such a waste of money because it tasted like juice. I get buzzed easily too and I felt completely sober.The nachos were average.

I sought out the CW in Vegas for a late dinner while attending a trade show. I arrived about 8:45pm and went into the bar and grabbed a table. It wasn’t packed and servers were around. After 5 minutes of sitting there I went up to the bar and asked for a menu since a server hadn’t come by. I got the menu and sat back down. Another 5 minutes passed, I smiled at a couple servers who passed by thinking they were going acknowledge me... Nope. Nothing. After another few minutes I held the menu up to look at drinks and dinner items while hoping this would be a pretty good sign I needed service. Nothing... I saw a couple servers chatting with the bar tender and thought I had some I contact. Nope.After sitting there for more than 10 minutes and being completed ignored I got up and walked out.
